
Terms and conditions of sale and transfer

Form of sale
The item will be sold in a two-stage auction.
Auction format: Ascending bids with starting price and reserve.

First round of sale
The first round of the auction serves as a pre-selection for the second round.
Bids can be submitted using the bid form on the website.
Deadline
The deadline for submission is set by the seller and will be published on the bid form page.
The seller reserves the right to extend or shorten the submission deadline.
The time of receipt of an offer is deemed to be the time stamp on the email when it is received by the seller according to CET.
Binding nature
Bids at auction are legally binding and you agree to terms when you join the auction.

Publication of bids
The five highest bids will be published on the website until the deadline for submission. The nicknames of the five highest bidders, the date of receipt, and the amounts bid will be published in a list on the website and updated regularly. The names, addresses, and contact details of the bidders will not be published.
Second round of the auction
Only the five highest bidders from the first round are eligible to participate in the second round of the auction.
The bids will be published on the website until the deadline for submission. The nicknames of the five highest bidders, the date of receipt, and the amounts bid will be published in a list on the website and updated regularly. The names, addresses, and contact details of the bidders will not be published.
Validation of identities
Each bidder sends the buyer a copy of their own identity card or passport, on which the document number, the bidder's own photo, and the bidder's signature are clearly visible.

Disclosure of the “follow-up patent” option
The “follow-up patent” option will only be disclosed to participants in the second round and only after a confidentiality agreement has been signed.

Viewings and test drives
After disclosing their identities, participants will have the opportunity to view the vehicle in person and take it for a test drive. Viewing appointments will be arranged by mutual agreement.
Bids
All eligible participants in the second round may submit further bids during the submission period for the final round.
Deadline
The deadline for submission is set by the seller and will be published on the bid form page.

The highest bidder wins the contract.

Purchase agreement
The buyer signs the written purchase agreement within a period of 7 working days and returns a copy of the signed agreement to the seller.

Payment terms
After signing the purchase agreement, the buyer must make payment within 7 working days.

Transfer of the item
The following options are available for transferring the item to the buyer:

Direct, personal transfer of the item from the seller to the buyer

Transfer of the item from the seller to a third party designated by the buyer
Transfer shall only take place after the identity of the person collecting the item has been verified (identity card or passport of the buyer or the third party designated by the buyer).

Deadline for collection of the vehicle
Upon request, the vehicle can be stored free of charge at the seller's premises (underground parking space) until collection. However, the vehicle must be collected no later than 12 months after the date of conclusion of the contract.
Shipping of the vehicle
The seller will assist the buyer in organizing a shipping company to transport the item to the buyer. The seller agrees to deliver and hand over the item or vehicle throughout Switzerland free of charge to a shipping company of the buyer's choice. The shipping costs from Switzerland to the buyer, as well as any import duties and taxes, shall be borne by the buyer.​
Right of withdrawal
Once the purchase agreement has been signed, the purchase is legally binding and cannot be revoked. In the event of non-fulfillment of the purchase agreement, the seller reserves the right, based on Art. 214 of the Swiss Code of Obligations, to sell the item and to claim the amount of the loss from the party responsible for the damage through legal channels, based on Art. 215 of the Swiss Code of Obligations.
